citizenship law Massive protests are taking place in various cities of the country including capital Delhi against the Citizenship Amendment Act. People are facing heavy jams in Delhi and adjoining Gurugram. If you are in Delhi and are going to move from one place to another then definitely read this news before that. Let me tell you that due to the protests against the cab, many roads are blocked, then the same roads have been closed by the police for security. Because of which the main routes of Delhi are jammed.
Gurugram-Delhi Highway has been a long bottleneck, though strong jams often exist on Noida Mayur Vihar Road. Strong delays are also faced with Sarita Vihar, Okhla, ITO, ISBT, New Delhi and DND.
The citizenship amendment bill was passed in the Lok Sabha on 9 December 2019. After which it was introduced in the Rajya Sabha on 11 December where it passed after a long debate. After passing both houses of Parliament, the President also signed this amendment. Now this law is being strongly opposed all over the country. On December 15, there was a strong protest against it in Jamia, Delhi, which turned violent. Police personnel and students were also injured in this demonstration.

The disturbances lead to further problems between the street protests and the closing of 17 Delhi Metro stations. Some schools in Delhi have asked parents to arrange to take their children by messaging. The parents were very angry after the demonstrations at different places and these texts from certain colleges.
