Vidyut, renowned for his films like ‘Commando’ series and ‘Power,’ said Kabir had to concentrate more on his role Sameer Chaudhary’s emotional sapce.

“Although ‘Khuda Haafiz’ is focused on an event in real life, it has to be performed exactly the same stuff, the entire plot, the way it is composed, shoot and even the way it works. Vidyut comes from a hard-core action room, the premise was one in getting down to basics and a real feeling of success.

Vidyut was prepared for the film for three months by the producer.

“We did 3 weeks of seminars which involve reading different scenes, his backshot, the language of the face, the way he spoke and walked, tehzib, and so on.

To Vidyut, this is an emotionally unfamiliar area, we needed to explore it, “he said.

The action sequences in the movie are raw and actual, says Kabir.
